Bratislava And Bolzano Continue Winning Streak

In the European Women’s Hockey League, HK PSRZ Bratislava celebrated a clear 7:0 victory over the Graz Huskies on Saturday. The league leaders EVB Eagles South Tyrol came out on top 4:1 at home against Tauron Metropolia Silesia.

Bratislava was superior to Graz right from the start. However, it took until the 18th minute for the hosts to take the lead. The Slovakians extended their lead to 3:0 in the middle period. The result then became very clear in the third period. Bratislava won 7:0 in the end, with Janka Hlinkova scoring two goals.

The EVB Eagles South Tyrol also won their fourth game of the season. The South Tyroleans took the lead in their home game against Tauron Metropolia Silesia with a shorthanded goal by Kristin Della Rovere. The visitors managed to equalise in the middle period, but the Eagles fought back and went into the final period with a 3:1 lead. Nicole Varesco ensured the final score.
